POLICE have released CCTV footage  of a man after a laptop worth more than £1,000 was stolen from a shop in Andover.

Officers received a report that a man entered Currys PC World at Churchill Retail Park took a Macbook laptop worth approximately £1,200 on Friday, 17 November between 4.30pm and 4.45pm.

The man left the store without paying before becoming aggressive and making threats towards a member of staff who tried to get the laptop back.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who can help identify the man in the CCTV images as part of the investigation.

In addition, anyone who witnessed the incident, or has been offered a Macbook laptop for sale in suspicious circumstances, is asked to contact police.
