ANDOVER New Street girls teams enjoyed a hat-trick of wins as the under-10s, under-11s and under-13s all won.

New Street under-13 girls secured a hard fought 3-1 victory over Warsash thanks to goals from Ede Buchele (2) and Jess Dunney.

The team played some attractive football in difficult conditions with solid displays from every player.

As well as the goal scorers there were promising defensive performances from Evie Metcalfe, goalkeeper Niamh Gailer and player of the match Morgan Durrans.

New Street under-11 girls made it nine wins from 10 games for the season after this 4-0 victory over University of Portsmouth.

Maisy Aldridge opened the scoring volleying home Lexie North’s inch perfect corner. North then made it 2-0 five minutes later after a superb one two with Aldridge.

Great passing between the attacking three players of Bella Turpin, Aldridge and North created a further two goals with Aldridge scoring her 22nd and 23rd of the season just before half time and completing her hat-trick in the second half.

Both attacking wise and defensively all seven players Holly Odling, Zelie Rowland, Annu Roychacko, Alisha Kearley, Bella Turpin, Maisy Aldridge and Lexie North put in a terrific team performance.

New Street under-10s travelled to Eastleigh for their Inter League Cup game and returned 1-0 winners.

Charlotte Newport, player of the game Olivia Nelson and Niamh Geary put in some important defensive tackles whilst at the other end of the pitch Susie Davies, Lara Groves and Skye Cohen made the home goalkeeper earn her stripes.

The Andover side saved plenty in the tank for a dominant final period, which saw Lilly Thompson score the winner, after yet another foray forward from Groves.
