SCHOOL pupils have been full of seasonal spirit this month by spreading plenty of joy in the community.
Pupils at Rookwood School, in Weyhill Road, have been taking on a number of festive activities this month.
The pupil’s Growers Club gifted their neighbours at Andover Nursing Home a handmade Christmas wreath.
The residents were thrilled with the wreath.
Following the wreath gift, Rookwood’s Cookery Club shared homemade mince pies with the nursing home residents and the prep school sang them Christmas carols.
A school spokesperson said: “Everyone loved the children’s rendition of Away in A Manger and their enthusiastic performance of On The Way to Bethlehem.
“The children then sang a very warm happy birthday to Betty, the nursing home’s oldest resident.”
