A BUSINESS networking group has made a donation to a good cause.

Andover Mutual Business Group (AMBG) has donated £500 to Andover Young Carers which supports children and young people who have a caring responsibility.

Established in January 2000, the charity helps these young people develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually by providing opportunities that widen their horizons and allow them to reach their full individual potential.

Presented to Andover Young Carers’ volunteer Gill Rhodes, the donation will enable the charity to treat the children and young adults they support to day trips, as well as providing additional activities for the charity’s after school clubs.

Chairman of AMBG David Ings said: “We’re delighted to present this donation to Andover Young Carers; a vital cause that makes a huge difference to the lives of so many children and young adults in the area.”

Andover Mutual Business Group (AMBG) is a local monthly business networking initiative made up of small businesses from in and around Test Valley.

It provides the space for local businesses to get support, exchange ideas, gain advice and network with like-minded individuals.
