AN APPEAL has been launched after the attempted theft of a cash machine at a convenience store.
Police were called to the One Stop shop in Colenzo Drive, between 2.30am and 3.15am on this morning.
Entry was gained to a room at the store where a cash machine was, but despite attempts to dislodge it, the cash machine was not removed and no cash was taken.
Police say a car was seen driving off from the area at around the same time.
Officers investigating the incident are looking to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area.
