The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning until midday today, with temperatures expected to reach 3C throughout the day.

However, with many road surfaces still covered in ice motorists are advised to drive with caution.

Stagecoach South said that all routes around the town should be running as normal, but for passengers to allow for a slower journey.

Train timetables have been amended to cater for the delays, so rail users are advised to visit for all the latest updates.

Currently all major roads around Hampshire are clear with Highways England warning motorists to drive carefully and be aware of black ice.
