A WOMAN with Down’s Syndrome is defying all odds and taking part in an aquathlon to raise money for a charity which saved the life of a dear friend.

Lisa Matthews will be taking on the challenge of swimming 500 metres and running five kilometres in aid of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance on Sunday, 25 March, after its crew saved the life of a three-year-old boy, Joshie Thomas, who Lisa has known since a baby and shares a close bond.
