ORGANISERS of a town centre music festival are hoping for a sell out as tickets went on sale at the weekend.
Andover Rocks is hosting a two-day musical event with a choice of indoor and outdoor venues, gigs and workshops across Andover town on 6 and 7 April.
NoKando has been announced as the headline Saturday night act at the Rockhouse, and workshops running across the event include arts and crafts, medi-chant, belly dancing and a children’s ceilidh.
Organiser Marie Ponting said: “It is something for everybody from poetry to rock to acoustic to workshops. You can try something new broaden your horizons and it is such good value for money. You can spend the whole 24 hours nearly absorbed in music.”
The money raised will be donated to Southern Health’s Community Mental Health Team to provide music therapy.
Workshop places must be booked in advance.
Tickets are on sale at The White Hart, The Rockhouse, The Malthouse and Stringbrokers.
