A PENSIONER who died three days after he was involved in a crash with a van has been named.

Police have confirmed that Kenneth Hamblen, of Blendon Drive, Andover died following a two-vehicle collision at the junction of the A272 and A30 at Hill Farm Cross, Sutton Scotney last week.

The 86-year-old was driving a silver Vauxhall Meriva and the other vehicle involved was a Mercedes Sprinter van.

The collision happened at around 1.12pm on March 14.

Mr Hamblen was taken to Southampton General Hospital but sadly died on March 17.

Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened or anyone who has any dash cam footage.
