ENTRIES have now opened for a late-night fundraising walk for a hospice.

The Countess of Brecknock Hospice’s 10@10 Late Night Walk will take place on Saturday, 23 June, starting and finishing at Harrow Way Community School.

The walk will start at 10pm and entrants can take on the five or ten mile walk.

Michele Gard, head of community fundraising at the hospice, said: "Over the years, hundreds of lovely ladies have taken on the 10@10 Late Night Walk to support the work of hospice.

"This year, for the first time, we hope they will be joined by husbands, brothers, uncles, fathers, sons and friends, as we are opening the event to men and those under 16 as well."

Walkers of all ages and abilities are welcomed with those taking part encouraged to wear neon, fluorescent and flashing accessories.

Entry fees are £15 for those aged over 16 and £10 for under 16s which covers running costs, a t-shirt, medal and refreshments on finishing.
