CHARITIES have been left devastated by the closure of a club which has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for good causes over more than half a century.
After 54 years, Andover and District Lions Club has announced its closure after an unsuccessful bid to recruit new members left the group of just seven unable to carry on its charitable work.
