FLOWERS, candles and messages have been laid in tribute of the victim found at an alleyway off Smannell Road.

Police lifted the cordon around the crime scene over the weekend, and loved ones paid tribute to the 28-year-old, named as "Tommy" in messages left.

Police are yet to officially release the identity of the man from London, who was found at around 1am on Friday and died by the time he reached hospital.

On Friday four arrests were made of a 32 and 47-year-old woman, and a 37 and 47-year-old man, but all were released without further investigation on Saturday.

Detective Chief Inspector Ben Chivers said: “We have already spoken to a number of people and have started to piece together a picture of what took place during the early hours of Friday morning. We are considering a number of lines of enquiry including the possibility that the incident is related to drugs.

“We would urge you to get in touch if you were in the area, saw what happened or have any knowledge or information connected to the incident."
