STUDENTS from Winton Community Academy hit the slopes earlier this month.
Nine pupils were given the opportunity to visit Gaschurn in Austria for a special trip during the Easter holidays.
Most of the students had never skied before, but they all made “fantastic progress” over the week and were “tearing down the mountain” by the end of the trip.
Geography teacher Paul George said: “Wow, what a fantastic trip. The staff and students had a wonderful time plotting our routes down the Austrian Alps.
“The students have grown as individuals and I hope that the trip will inspire a life long love for skiing and a willingness to return to the Alps again some day.”
The school said students and staff alike were privileged to see the fantastic scenery that is located in the Alps.
Mr George added all were left with memories to last a lifetime.
