IT WAS fry-ups all round at a charity fundraising event

Andover and Rural District MS Society held the ‘Bigger Better Breakfast’ to raise funds to help support those with Multiple Sclerosis on Saturday.

For the third year running the charity sold tickets to an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast, allowing attendees to indulge in fry-up staples to their heart’s content.

Overall, 52 people attended the event at The White Hart, raising a total of £477.80.

Alongside the sausages and scrambled eggs, musicians played and there was later an auction and raffle.

Ingrid Allso, lead fundraiser said: “Everybody had a whale of a time.

“We are very active in fundraising and just try help people as much as we can.

“Charity fundraising brings the community together, Andover has a great community heart. Raise local, stay local.”

Funds raised will go towards the running of an exercise and therapy class for individuals with MS, as well as other methods of support.

Future fundraising events being held by the group include a jazz and blues afternoon on Sunday 13 May, at the Wolversdene Club.

Tickets are on sale for £8, which includes lunch as well as a day of live music running from noon to 6pm.
