THERE was fun for all down on the farm at the weekend.

Families made the most of the record-breaking temperatures to visit Finkley Down Farm.

Across the Bank Holiday the attraction hosted sheep races and pony rides, along with its usual animal meet and greet sessions.

Farm owner Charlie Waters said: “We had a very good weekend. We had a lot of visitors and a nice bit of sunshine.

“Everyone had a great time, it was great to have some sunshine and the glorious weekend made up for the little bit of bad weather during the Easter holidays.”

Visitors were also treated to water bombs to cool off from the heat and even a bit of balloon magic from entertainer Sam-Tastic.

But for one visitor it was a memorable occasion as one-year-old Jennifer Hart handled a rabbit for the first time on Saturday.

And Evie Hagon celebrated her fifth birthday with a family visit to the farm and got up close to some of its furry residents.
