A SOFTWARE and services provider has opened its doors to three new apprentices from the Andover area.

VuePoint Solutions based on Portway West Business Park has recruited the trio under the City & Guilds scheme in conjunction with Sparsholt College.

The three apprentices - James Rule, Sasha Geall and Anthony McKellop – will all be undertaking an infrastructure technician apprenticeship.

The course is designed for individuals who provide support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology, to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and troubleshoot non-routine problems.

Operations manager Kim Evans said: “VuePoint Solutions is growing our customer base and have been steadily building our team to support this expansion.

“We see the apprenticeship scheme as an essential part of the recruitment mix to help us to do this. VuePoint have been based in Andover since our creation, we have always looked to support the local community and local business in equal measure and see our investment in the apprenticeship scheme, in conjunction with our local college, as a natural extension of this.”
