AN 89-YEAR-OLD woman shared a “wonderful moment” when she left her home for the first time in three years this month.
Muriel, who receives home care visits from care provider Bluebird Care, was helped by her carers to go to a spring painting event at its London Street office on Thursday, 3 May.
The care company which offers home care visits up to 24-hour live in support is hosting a series of workshops for its customers including painting, flower arranging, bingo and more.
Bluebird Care manager for Andover and Stockbridge Jade Crouter said: “It’s days like this that make everything that we do on a day-to-day basis worthwhile.
“Getting Muriel out of the house for a few hours has made our year! Without the help of our amazing care team, things like this wouldn’t be possible!”
