YOUNGSTERS struck it lucky at the first Inter School’s Bowling Tournament.
Held at the Riverside Bowl in Andover, the event on June 13 gave pupils from schools across the town the chance to show off their skills.
Mixed year groups from Andover C of E, Anton Junior School, Knights Enham Junior School, Portway Junior School, Roman Way Primary School and Vigo Junior School took part in the day.
Over the event they competed against each other in a two-game playoff and anticipation grew as scores changed from one school to another.
Assistant manager Ben Thambipillai said: “The atmosphere was fantastic, the children were engaged and improved with each round showing a natural development of the sport.”
The victorious team was Andover C of E, second place was Knights Enham Junior School and Anton Junior School took third place.
There was individual medals for pupils Tiarna with 101, Adam with 82 and James with a score of 78.
