House fire in King George Road, Andover
A WOMAN has been arrested after a house was destroyed in an early-morning fire, with police suspecting it was arson.
Hampshire police have now arrested a 53-year-old woman from Andover on suspicion of arson and she currently remains in custody.
A spokesman for the force said: “The exact cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but is being treated as suspicious.
“Officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any relevant information to assist the investigation.”
