FIREFIGHTERS are warning to take care in the warm weather after dealing with an open fire at Andover Down yesterday.
Two crews from Andover and one from Whitchurch were called at 1.24pm to a large pile of wood on London Road in Andover Down.
The timber had spread from a nearby bonfire and was extinguished with two hose reels and dampened by 2.28pm.

No casualties were found and there will be no further investigation into the cause of the fire.
