A MEMBER of the Overton Dramatic Society (ODS) has been honoured with an award for her work for the group.
Freda Robinson has been a member of ODS for 25 years, and was given the Tina's Star award for her involvement looking after the wardrobe, costumes, accessories and commitment to running the front of house team.
The award is named after Tina Blunden, a former member of ODS who died of cancer, aged 46, in 2008. Freda knew Tina personally and so the award was particualrly special to her.
Freda said: "I am very proud to have won it. I can't really believe it - I can't stop looking at it!"
ODS puts on a spring and winter production each year, with Alice and Wonderland announced for 27 November to 1 December as the next to look forward to.
