ANDOVER and District Mencap (ADM) are "very pleased" with a new polo shirts donated for their members to be recognised.

ADM ambassador Iris Andersen began raising the money last year for her 70th birthday, and reached a total £848 which has funded shirts for The Brilliant Drama Group, Duke's Cafe, Children’s Play Scheme and After School club.

The Brilliant Drama Group director Cat Randle said: "We are really pleased we have been waiting a long time for them and it just lifts their spirits and helps us continue with the professionality we have been training them.

"People can now recognise us and it makes us feel like we are a team.
