TWO food delivery drivers have been robbed in Andover this month.

Police are investigating two separate incidents and are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.

On Thursday, July 12, at around 3am a 29-year-old man was approached at Genoa Court by three men who had their faces covered and stole cash and a phone.

One of the suspects was holding a knife but no-one was hurt.

In a second incident on Monday, July 23, at around 1.15am a 57-year-old man had cash and a torch stolen by four men who covered their faces at Launcelot Close.

The victim described one of the men as wearing black shorts and a black hooded top, around six foot two inches tall and in his early twenties.

One of the men was carrying a baseball bat but no-one was injured.

Both victims were food delivery drivers and police are investigating whether there are links between the two robberies.

Officers said members of the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out regular patrols in the area.
