WHERE to walk along 44 miles of Hampshire’s Test Way has been laid out in a new guidebook.
Walking Hampshire’s Test Way gives 15 circular walks ranging from six kilometres to 14 kilometres for ramblers of differing abilities.
Author Malcolm Leatherdale has a passion for walking and the great outdoors, and has lived in Hampshire the past 15 years nearby to the River Test and Test Way.
He hopes to encourage others to “experience the delights” of walking and the Test Way.
The route which covers from Inkpen Beacon, in the North Wessex Downs, to the Eling Tide Mill near Southampton Water, passes sites of Specific Scientific Interest and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Mr Leatherdale’s guidebook highlights information on the history, geology and landscape of Test Valley as well as practical information on accommodation and transport.
The book is available from major bookshops as well as directly from cicerone.co.uk.
