A MAN who tried to steal from a shop and was also caught with drugs has been ordered to undergo rehabilitation.
William Henry Vigar-Taylor tried to steal items from a storage container at Homebase in Enham Arch Retail Park on May 7.
On Thursday, July 26 at Basingstoke Magistrates Court Vigar-Taylor pleaded guilty to the crime and also being caught in possession of a Class B drug.
Magistrates were told on May 7 the 26-year-old was spotted with a quantity cannabis while in Portsmouth.
In sentencing, Vigar-Taylor of Broughton Road, Southsea, was ordered to carry out 26 rehabilitation sessions and he must also pay £85 court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.
