A SECTION of the A303 will be closed overnight for three weeks to allow major roadworks to take place.
The carriageway will be closed between the Picket Twenty Interchange and the Bullington Cross Interchange during the work expected to start on Monday, August 20.
Highways England has said that a 24-hour, 50mph speed limit will also be put in place at all times, stretching to the Longparish Interchange.
There will be width restrictions in place along the route to allow contractors to carry out the work.
As part of the works, bus stops and lay-bys along the stretch of road will also be closed, with the latter in force 24 hours a day.
