A VULNERABLE woman was "left terrified" after two drug dealers 'cuckooed' her home.

Officers attended a house in Cricketers Way in Andover on Tuesday, August 14, following a report of drug-related activity.

During a search of the house police found two men, who the force say were “transient drug dealers”.

The pair were not arrested as no drugs were found but they were removed from the address.

The vulnerable woman was then given safeguarding advice by police.

A Tweet from Andover Police said: “Proactive patrols yesterday located an address being cuckooed by two transient drug dealers.

“The vulnerable resident was terrified and was hugely relieved when they were removed from the address.”

Cuckooing is where drug dealers take over the homes of vulnerable people, often in exchange for free drugs.

Police are urging anyone who knows of drug-related activity where they live, to call 101, or alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
