What do you think of Olympic protests?

THRUXTON resident Sarah Longley-Cook said that politics and sporting events like the Olympics are now inextricably linked.
She added: "It's a shame that the relay has been linked with the 1936 games in Germany. I think it has been tarnished by the protests, and rightly so."
But she thinks that most people will still watch the games, despite the controversy, and said her favourite part is seeing people achieve their potential.
