SIZE is the problem rather than design for Andover's Brenda McGregor.
"They are okay designs but they won't make too much difference," she said.
"The 50p and 20p are easy to identify and to use but the five pence piece is so small it's easy to lose.
"I find they can get stuck in the corner of your purse."
