A FUN-FILLED family day was enjoyed by visitors of all ages at the Nether Wallop May Fair.
The event on Saturday raised a total of £1,000 with half being donated to Riding for the Disabled and the rest going towards the upkeep of the village green.
Mrs Tanya Royle, who is on the organising committee, said the day was very successful with highlights including a successful barbecue, a highly popular inflatable slide, and a Punch and Judy show by Gary Nunn of Ticklish Allsorts.
The bottle stall, stocked with donations from villagers, raised about £400 on its own.
Other attractions included a real helicopter cockpit, sack and three-legged races, face-painting, bar, tea and cake stall, photography competition, miniature garden competition, dog shows and lots of stall.
Mrs Royle said one of the main features of the day was the wide age-range of people attending during the fair, which raised more money than last year.
