Motorcyclist killed

AN 18-year-old motorcyclist from the Barton Stacey area was killed on Wednesday afternoon when the Yamaha motorcycle he riding was in colli sion with a Land Rover Defender vehicle towing a trailer on a country lane north of Andover.

The accident happened at 5.45pm on Hungerford Lane, Conholt, just inside the Wiltshire county boundary. The rider, whose has not been named, died at the scene. Police are appealing for witnesses.

The riders name is Luke Tiller and was a dear friend of many. He will be dearly missed not just by me but by many. our regards to his family. just a quick note to luke will miss ya. our love emma + mike x

i couldnt believe my ears when i found out, luke was only in my flat the day before! he will be missed emensely by his friends in longparish/ barton stacy where he used to enjoy spending his social time. he was more of a friend of a friend to me but in any case i would like to say R.I.P LUKE.you will never be forgotten.

luke was a great friend to me he was more like a brother. he was also my girlfriends best mate luke u will be sorely missed mate no more friday nite darts and u were just gettin good mate.... mate you were a great player a great person and a great mate and the best pairs partner i could of ever had im gonna miss you so much mate....and the dart team will miss you to...... mate i dedicate this upcomin season to you i know u will be watchin mate. my feelings go out to all his family and friends. u might be gone mate but NEVER FORGOTTEN. luv you man and i hope your raisin hell in heaven.... blakey

i met Luke at college 2 years ago and i got to no him very, every day at college i would see him and even when we would come out 4 brack we would be together i last soor luke monday and well he looked happy lol SO R.I.P LUKE M8. u will never be forgotten.

Have just heard from Dawn. I taught Luke judo for a while at Barton Stacey Judo Club. He was a great kid with a huge heart of gold. Of the comments above one thing that stands out is the mention of his cheeky smile. So true!

All these comments show how much luke was loved and how much he will be missed. I just hope that everyone now realises how precious life is and lives everyday to the full. This has been such a shock.
