Crash victim still in serious condition

A DRIVER from Tadley left fighting for his life after a car crash last week was still in a serious condition in hospital yesterday.
The 26-year-old was rushed to Southampton General Hospital's neurological intensive care unit with head injuries last Tuesday, after his black Vauxhall Vectra left the road and collided with a tree beside the A340 near Pamber End.
It is believed the car, which was heading northbound, had completed an overtaking manoeuvre shortly before the accident at about 11.30pm.
