THE first ever cat show to be held in Tidworth – a town more famous for its polo ponies and Army officers’ dogs – was a resounding success.

More than 240 cats attended the show from up and down the land to try to win favour with an international set of feline experts drawn from across Europe who acted as judges.

The event was staged at Tidworth Leisure Centre.
