IT’S a chance to sample some award winning local produce.

The Andover farmers’ market will be held in the High Street on Sunday with a variety of produce from across the county.

As well as sausages, home made burgers and free range chicken, ideal for the summer barbecue season, there will also be fresh dairy produce and salads.

For the adults there will also be a selection of refreshing wines, beers and ciders as well as soft drinks including fresh apple juice.

The Hampshire Farmers’ Market will run from 10am to 2pm with the Greenfield hog roast to provide hot snacks for shoppers on the go.

Janet Lane, director of Hampshire Farmers’ Markets, said: “Customers are encouraged to try something new at the market and find out for themselves how and where the food has been made, reared and produced, whilst taking in the fun and great atmosphere of a traditional market.”
