AN ARCADIAN lunch is to be held on 19 July to celebrate local vicar Ian Tomlinson’s 30th year in Appleshaw.

The big lunch is being held on the Ward Memorial playing field with guests invited to bring a picnic or enjoy a cooked two-course lunch.

All proceeds from the Arcadian Big Lunch, which starts at 1pm, will go towards the “our new playground” project and the St Peters church fabric fund.

Anyone bringing a picnic is asked to donate £1 per head with the two-course meal costing £7 for adults, £4 for children and a family ticket for two adults, two children at £20.
