A WOMAN was left with life threatening injuries after she was involved in a collision with a car on the A30 at Stockbridge at around 6.45pm on Thursday (5).
The 41-year-old woman from Stockbridge, driving a silver BMW, was heading west and was in collision with a red Jaguar X-Type at Chattis Hill.
The BMW was then in collision with a silver Audi A3 following the Jaguar before coming to rest in a grass verge.
The woman was taken to Southampton General Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
The Audi driver, a 45-year-old Stockbridge woman, suffered serious but non life threatening injuries and was taken to Salisbury District Hospital.
The driver of the Jaguar, a 63-year-old Salisbury man, was uninjured.
The road was closed until about 11.30pm and police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw any of the vehicles driving prior to it to come forward.
