Missing person's vehicle stuck in the mud

WILTSHIRE’S police helicopter had to fly two sorties in darkness in east Wiltshire yesterday evening in a search for a missing person in the Ludgershall area.

The helicopter, which was actively involved in the search between 9pm and 11pm, located the missing person’s vehicle stuck in mud in an isolated location .

Ground units were then guided to the scene and the missing individual, who is described as ‘vulnerable’, was located.
