Ben the star: Fearful of strangers but great with people he knows.
BEN is an energetic, boisterous five-year-old pointer cross who is an absolute star with people he knows, but who is fearful of strangers, say staff at the Dogs Trust rehoming centre in Newton Tony.
"He walks nicely on a lead, enjoys curling up with a good chew, and gets on with some other dogs," said centre manager Alison Rodger.
"Ben can be a very loving dog, and particularly likes a cuddle when he knows you, but he needs someone who will put in the time and training necessary to build his trust.
"Ben will do best with an experienced owner in a quiet home."
