POLICE have launched an investigation following an assault, which left a 49-year-old man with a broken ankle and facial injuries.
At around 6.30 pm on Friday 21 October at St Leonard's Close, Bulford there was an altercation between a male motorcyclist and pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a 49-year-old local man, was assaulted and sustained facial injuries and a broken ankle.
The motorcyclist has been described as white, aged in his late teens/early twenties, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with short dark hair and of average build.
He was wearing a tracksuit and a crash helmet and the bike is described as a black sporty 125cc.
An investigation is underway and officers are appealing for anyone who can help identify the man described to come forward.
