A BANNED driver caught behind the wheel of a van on the A303 also had an "illegal" passenger, a court has heard.
Aurimas Glebas was discovered driving a VW Crafter on the A303 in December 2016, while disqualified from holding a licence.
The 31-year-old Southampton resident was also caught not wearing a seat-belt and carrying a passenger in a large goods vehicle without the proper insurance.
He pleaded guilty to all three offence during a hearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court this week.
Glebas, of Scott Road, was fined a total of £265 and was also forced to pay £170 in victim surcharge and Crown prosecution costs.
The 31-year-old was handed a 12 month driving ban and will also have to complete 200 hours of community service over the next year.
