POLICE are appealing for information following two burglaries in the Whitchurch area.
Officers say a jerry can full of petrol and various tools were stolen from a garage at a property off Church Street.
Police believe thieves struck sometime between 7pm on Thursday 27 April and 7am on Friday 28 April.
Burglars also struck a garage in Tufton, south of Whitchurch, early on Friday morning.
Police say the offenders broke into the building between 8.30am and 8.50am by cutting a padlock.
A variety of expensive gardening equipment was stolen during the raid.
