Laminate flooring thief jailed
A LAMINATE flooring thief has been jailed for two months.
Dean Alexander Richardson, of Romney Road, Augusta Park, admitted to stealing six packets of laminate flooring valued at £102.24 from Homebase in April when he appeared in Basingstoke Magistrates' Court recently.
The 35-year-old also admitted to breaching a suspended sentence for a previous theft.
Richardson was sentenced to a total of eight weeks in prison, four weeks for the Homebase theft and four weeks for the prior theft.
He was also ordered to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
