THE female suspect arrested as part of the Malcolm Cox murder probe has been rebailed.

As previously reported, the now 39-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of murder last year following the death of Mr Cox in November.

The suspect was released on bail pending further investigations and will now remain on bail until September.

A 71-year-old man was also arrested but has been released without charge.

The arrests followed on from the death of 84-year-old Mr Cox, who was found with a laceration to the back of his head at a property in Bell Road on Tuesday, November 15.

Mr Cox, also of Bell Road, was taken to North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke where he died the following day.

Police probing the death of Mr Cox are asking anyone with information to call 101 quoting Operation Bib.
