A REPORT of a man indecently exposing himself in the Charlton Road area of Andover has been made to police.
Hampshire Police have confirmed that an incident of indecent exposure was reported to them as happening in Lakeside Close, near to Charlton Lakes, at around 1.30pm on Sunday, August 6.
A post on social media however, suggests that the incident happened as a woman and two children walked along a path at the rear of Andover War Memorial Hospital, between Charlton Road and Wellington Road, at around midday on that day.
The man is described as white, 6ft tall, looking dishevelled and he may have been carrying a sleeping bag.
Officers say that although he was reported as exposing himself it is not known whether it was deliberately directed at the woman who was some distance away from him and he may have been unaware that she could see him.
