A LUDGERSHALL man has been ordered to pay nearly £300 in fines and compensation after damaging a police cell and assaulting an officer.
Joshua Martin Mundy, of Abbatt Close, admitted to assaulting the police officer during an incident at Basingstoke Investigation Centre at the beginning of September.
The 29-year-old also pleaded guilty to damaging a holding cell and to engaging in threatening and abusive behaviour.
Mundy was ordered to pay a total fine of £120 and compensation of £160 for the cell.
He was also ordered to pay a £30 victim services charge.
