A THIEF who stole razor blades worth £250 has been given a suspended sentence by magistrates.
Fraser Charlie Williams was sentenced six weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months, when he admitted to stealing a quantity of razor blades from Boots on Chantry Way earlier this month.
The 24-year-old also admitted to stealing meat worth £150 from Marks and Spencer two days later.
Magistrates imposed a suspended sentence due to the seriousness of the offence and his previous record of offending.
Williams was also ordered to pay £250 compensation for the razor blades but no compensation for the meat as the goods were recovered.
