POLICE have cordoned off part of Andover town centre after a woman was found in the River Anton.
Emergency services were called to Bridge Street at 6.22am today (Saturday) following concerns for the welfare of the woman.
Officers are working at the scene, with the river pathway next to Iceland cordoned off.

Police can also be seen working by Iceland car park.
Eyewitnesses told the Advertiser Bridge Street was cordoned off from Iceland up to Belvoir earlier this morning until it was lifted at around 9am.
A police spokesman said: "We are currently in attendance at Bridge Street, Andover, following a concern for the welfare of a woman found in the River Anton.
"We were called by a member of the public at 6.22am this morning (Saturday 26 May).
"Officers have cordoned a small area off Bridge Street but the road itself is open to traffic."
