A WOMAN has allegedly been raped in an Andover street.
Police are appealing for witnesses to help its investigation into the allegation, which happened between 1am and 2am today (Sunday) in Pilgrims Way.
The victim, a woman aged in her 40s, is receiving support from specialist officers and enquiries are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances.
A 42-year-old man from Andover has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
He remains in custody at this time.
