A VILLAGE school is calling on local business to support its biggest fundraiser of the year.
Hurstbourne Tarrant Church of England Primary School is set to host its Summer Fayre on Sunday, 10 June from noon until 4pm.
The annual event is looking for sponsorship, which would help the school with its outgoing costs so as to ensure the maximum amount of goes towards its pupils.
Georgina Wilson, member of The Friends of Hurstbourne Tarrant C E Primary School, said: "Every year our Fayre raises valuable funds for the school providing additional resources that would not otherwise be available to pupils.
"Proceeds from previous events have been allocated to creating and enhancing outside learning spaces for the younger children, rejuvenating the IT provision and purchasing
academic text books for the older children.
"None of this would have been possible without the support of local businesses.
"We hope that you can help support the children of our school."
Any company that sponsors the summer shindig will be advertised in the event's programme.
If the business also chooses to donate towards a particular stall the school will be able to display the company's own banner showing its logo and details.
Donations of £50 and upwards are greatly appreciated.
Areas that need sponsorship are the Fayre's barbecue, bar costs and a children’s climbing wall.
