THE fruits of fundraising efforts by pre-prep school pupils have been presented to a charity.

The children of Rookwood School's Pre-Prep recently invited charity Two Saints in to school to present a cheque for over £300.

Over the past few months, the Pre-Prep children and staff have organised and taken part in a number of activities and events to raise money for the charity which included table top sales, a Christmas Bazaar and a non-school uniform day.

The children chose Two Saints as their school charity last year

During an assembly, Genee Jasper, team leader at the charity, spoke about her role, as well as the wider work of the organisation.

Melanie Brickell, head of Pre-Prep, said, “It was incredibly humbling listening to Genee speak about the work that Two Saints carries out. I am very proud of everyone for raising so much money for this wonderful charity. It has been lovely to see the children thinking of others and being so enthusiastic about helping those less fortunate.”
